2010 BMW S1000RR - Mineral Silver Metallic
A DOHC 999cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke engine, paired with a six-speed, chain-driven transmission, powers the S1000RR. The fuel-injected, inline-four engine produces 193 hp at 13,000 rpm and gives the S1000RR a top speed of well over 160 mph. Handling can be improved by altering power and throttle response using four riding modes: Rain, Sport, Race and Slick.
Built around a 26.42-lb. aluminum bridge frame, the S1000RR weighs 403.4 lbs. and measures 84.4 inches. A 43mm front fork with spring-preload and 10 positions of adjustable rebound handles suspension. The bike has dual front Brembo disc brakes, and a single rear brake.
Besides the riding modes, BMW offers several unique technology options that distinguish the S1000RR from the competition. Options include dynamic traction control (DTC), antilock brakes (Race ABS) and wheelie control. An addition $450 option is BMW's gear-shift assistant ("speed-shift"), which allows rapid gear changes without clutching or loss of rpm.
This bike has only 2795 miles on the odometer, has never been on the track, never down or dropped.
